GOOD ENOUGH...TO TURN OUT THE LIGHTS, HOUSTON

Houston, Texas-- The "Energy Capital of the World" has committed to tagging the name "The Energy Conservation Capital" by turning off the lights on April 24, 2009. In its second year, Houston hopes to move from 104.8 Million SqFt in 2008! — 73,308,610 SqFt and counting for 2009! Starting at 10pm on April 24th, all Class A, B and C office buildings in downtown and all government-owned buildings will be turning off their lights to raise awareness and establish a sustained reduction in the use of non-essential electricity in commercial buildings.
